Robotic lawn mowers have become incredibly popular and can be found in many gardens. However, despite modern technology, remote control of the robots still seems like a futuristic feature for many users. Therefore, we have developed RoboConnect, which gives you the full digital benefit – now you can control your machine no matter where you are and exactly when you want.
How does RoboConnect+ work?
The leading engineers at Robomow have developed the RoboConnect+ module to provide you with extra tracking capability and more control options. With RoboConnect+, you get both GPS tracking and a SIM card-based mobile network for your robotic lawnmower. Robomow robotic lawnmowers can now use GPS tracking via the mobile network to send updates on the latest location several times a day.
Robomow robotic lawnmowers with RoboConnect can also respond to voice commands through Amazon Alexa-compatible devices. Imagine sending your lawnmower to work via a simple voice command while you relax on the beach. It doesn't get much easier—however, you must remember to follow ALL safety instructions! Children, adults, and pets must not be on the lawn while Robomow is mowing.
GeoFence Theft Protection
Another practical feature allows you to set up a GPS GeoFence. Via GPS, the location of your robotic lawnmower is registered and stored. If the robotic lawnmower leaves the predefined area, a push notification is sent to your smartphone. If your lawnmower is stolen, you can track its latest position using GPS data and map its location within a few meters. A backup battery ensures that the robotic lawnmower remains traceable, thus increasing the chance of finding the robotic lawnmower again in case of theft.
RoboConnect+ provides greater user comfort
With RoboConnect+, operating your Robomow robotic lawnmower becomes even easier—whether you are at home or away. Additionally, at Robomow, we show that we take data protection and privacy very seriously. Therefore, the new system encrypts all data before it is sent, and no information is stored.
More innovative news from Robomow
The development of RoboConnect+ technology marks another step in the future of robotic lawnmowers. In 2018, Robomow was the first on the market with a robotic lawnmower that could be voice-controlled via Amazon Alexa, and in 2019, they introduced RoboVision™, the first camera-based solution for robotic lawnmowers, on the German market. The purpose of Robomow's innovations is to give you the ability to mow the lawn without your help using smart and modern technology. Robomow is continuously at the forefront of product development and uses state-of-the-art hardware and software solutions in all robotic lawnmowers. This ensures you a perfectly mowed lawn and a highly user-friendly machine that you can operate no matter where you are.
Availability
Many of the Robomow models are already equipped with RoboConnect, which consists of a GSM module. RoboConnect+* must be purchased as an additional accessory. RoboConnect+ consists of both a GSM and a GPS module.
