Strong French brands secured for the future – CAFOM continues Brandt and De Dietrich

The CAFOM Group has secured the rights to continue the well-known French white goods brands Brandt, De Dietrich, Sauter and Vedette. With this decision, continuity is ensured for several strong brands with a long history and high recognition among consumers both in France and internationally. Brandt and De Dietrich have for several years been represented in the Nordics via Witt Denmark A/S.

Foundation for continuation and development

With the secured rights, a foundation is created to preserve the heritage of the four brands and ensure the continued development of their position in the market. Servicing of already sold Brandt and De Dietrich products is secured with the acquisition. New assortments are expected to be ready in early 2027. With new partnerships and a focus on innovation, the stage is set for a continuation of the brands’ strong traditions combined with future development.

De Dietrich - French innovation through centuries

De Dietrich represents a unique French heritage with roots dating all the way back to the 17th century. Over time, the brand has been behind a wide range of groundbreaking innovations – including the first oven for private homes, pyrolytic self-cleaning and the introduction of the steam oven. This was later followed by the first induction hob in 1990 as well as further developments such as zoneless induction and advanced cooking functions. The combination of technological innovation, uncompromising quality and a design inspired by the French lifestyle gives De Dietrich a very special position in the market.

Brandt - strong position in European homes

Since its establishment in 1924, Brandt has developed into one of Europe’s most experienced manufacturers of white goods. With a broad assortment and a strong presence in European homes, Brandt has built a close relationship with consumers based on trust, functionality and relevance. Innovation, ease of use and responsible production have been central elements in the brand’s development and have contributed to a consistently strong market position.

A solid foundation for the future

With the CAFOM Group as the new responsible player, a solid foundation is created to carry Brandt and De Dietrich forward while strengthening their position in the market. The ambition is to ensure continued development and availability of the products - with respect for the brands’ history and with a focus on future growth.

The news marks a new chapter, where the brands are ready to continue their development with renewed strength and stability.
